Elvis Presley, on rhythm acoustic guitar, and accompanied by lead guitarist Scotty Moore and bassist Bill Black, was a pioneer of rockabilly, an uptempo, backbeat-driven fusion of country music and rhythm and blues. Together, they recorded a rockabilly version of “Milk Cow Blues” retitled "Milkcow Blues Boogie" at Sun Records. They called their band The Blue Moon Boys. When I was a teenager, I used to go up to the public library and borrow Elvis CDs to listen to all the time. I blame Elvis for my love of Rockabilly.
