Short lived garage-psych group Orphan Egg formed in 1967 in San Jose, California. The majority of them were students at Saratoga High School in Saratoga when they won the Vox Battle of the Bands, a nationwide competition. They also appeared on The Cycle Savages (Music From The Original Soundtrack).
Band members were Jim Bate, George Brix, Pat Gallagher, Dave Monley and Barry Smith.
