After some time as part of Miles Davis’ sextet, Bill Evans set out to make a career as a leader of his own Jazz group. Being we’re from Louisiana, I have to mention that Bill Evans had some of his classical training at Southern Louisiana University in Hammond, LA. Evans is well known for his sound and is an influence on Jazz Pianist even today. Today we have one of his compositions that has become a Jazz standard.
