We're talking about Duos and Storytellers again today. The Stanley Brothers are one of the greatest when it comes to Duos, Storytelling, and Bluegrass! Brothers Carter and Ralph Stanley formed the band around November 1946, with the Clinch Mountain Boys backing them. Carter played guitar and sang lead, while Ralph played banjo and sang with his unique high tenor voice. After Carter's passing in 1966, Ralph went on to continue making music under the Stanley Brothers name, and under his own name. Even if you don't know Ralph Stanley, you probably know his unique voice. There's many popular movies and TV shows that feature music by him, and by The Stanley Brothers.
