Today’s band, which originated in London as The Scorpions, changed their name to The Status Quo in 1967, and finally landed on Status Quo in 1969 for their final form (name). They have been active for 60 consecutive years, and have had more chart hits than any other rock band in the UK – over 60. Status Quo's albums have been released in the United States throughout their career, but they never achieved the same level of success there as they have in Britain. This song comes from their Psychedelic years, which were around 1968-1970.
