The Father of Bluegrass

Bluegrass music has always been a favorite genre for me.  Today, we have a number from the genre’s creator, Bill Monroe.  The genre takes its name from his band, the Blue Grass Boys, who named their group for the bluegrass of Monroe's home state of Kentucky.  Bill Monroe is cited as a major influence for artist of many different genres.  He’s even in the Rock and Roll hall of fame for the influence he’s brought to musicians.  Be sure to check out his work sometime.  Here’s a good starter.
