Junior Brown is a seriously good musician and a seriously good writer. But, he’s not afraid to not be too serious with his lyrics. A lot of his songs have that little elbow nudge that gives you a tickle. But the humor is not the only focus of his writing. It’s more one part of a larger whole in which every part is polished and perfected. He even created a new instrument for his music, which he calls the "Guit-steel".
